Alfaplast has always believed in innovation and develops its products with eco-sustainable materials and alternatives to plastic from fossil sources.
Using low-cost biomasses (rice husks, wood, miscanthus, pomace, etc.) combined with polymers which, depending on the applications, can be recycled, bio-based, biodegradable, biodegradable and compostable, or virgin, mixed with biopolymers it is possible obtaining a material that can be used as an alternative to plastic, with the advantage of being ecological and having even better mechanical performance in some applications.
Not only that: in this way we can design and create together with farmers, winemakers, food companies and others, products closely related to their business, providing added image and economic value, thanks to an eye to the environment and the recovery of materials that would normally be considered waste of processing.
